Answers
How does Los Angeles Circles Work?
Los Angeles Circles is a new kind of benefits club. Instead of just getting the usual discounts, you’re actually offered great experiences and unique deals for free, once you’ve joined. Many of the items on the website are just given away to our members.
What’s the connection between Los angeles Magazine and circles?
Los Angeles magazine is the force behind Circles. Because of the magazine’s extensive relationships and connections, members are offered the best Los Angeles has to offer.
Where do you get all the stuff you give away?
Los Angeles magazine’s readers are among the most affluent and influential in the country. As a result, businesses, restaurants, movie theatres, spas and museums often ask Los Angeles magazine to be a media partner for their event or product launch. This gives Circles members access to exclusive promotional gifts, offers and discounts they wouldn’t have access to otherwise. Circles connects the dots.
If you get these offers for free, why isn’t it free to join the club?
There are administrative and technical costs behind the club which are covered by the membership fee. But when you sign up, you immediately receive a Welcome Gift worth $48 or more which makes your membership free.
Can’t I just buy some of this stuff?
You can in some cases, but not with Circles’ amazing discounts and exclusive offers.
Los Angeles Circles is a members-only club with exclusive benefits. Aside from your membership fee, we don’t sell anything. We just provide members with access to free offers and great discounts. And Los Angeles Circles sometimes offers a limited quantity of complimentary tickets to events that are not open to the general public, tickets that aren't for sale anywhere.
Is That All You Got?
What you see on the site is only representative of what is offered at that exact moment in the club. New offers are added all the time, so check back often or sign up for notifications via Twitter, Facebook or e-mail.
Why Do Some Offers Say "Sold Out"
Many offers on the site are limited in numbers such as a set number of tickets for a movie premiere. These are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. However, there are many offers which are not limited in either time or quantity, so your membership still provides you with great value, even if you miss out on some of the limited offers.
How Do I Get the Tickets and Gift Cards I ordered?
If you choose one of the offers that has a physical product attached to it, such as theatre tickets, movie passes or gift cards, we ship them to you via FedEx. We do this to ensure that the package ends up in the right hands on time. These packages are trackable, so if you ever need us to look up a package you should have received, we can easily do so. For example, tickets for theatre premieres may become available only a couple of days before the actual show and might not reach you in time via regular mail.
Do I Pay For Shipping and Handling?
Yes. Even though most offers are free, we have to charge a fee of $10 for shipping and handling in order to pay for shipping tickets and other items out to you.
What If There Is Not Physical Product Attached to the Offer?
There are no shipping and handling charges for offers where we don’t send anything out. For example, we do not charge for providing discounts to LACMA, the Autry Museum, Mike D Fitness, etc. For those types of services, you only need to show your card, or sign up with the Circles code provided to you by each organization on losangelescircles.com in order to redeem the offer.
What If I've Ordered Tickets for an Event and I Can't Go?
We are unable to give you a refund since the tickets were free and the shipping and handling fee is non-refundable. If you wish to give away your tickets to a friend or wish to return the tickets so another member can have them, please contact Circles at losangelescircles@gmail.com to learn about your options.
What If I change My Mind About An Offer?
If you have not yet received your package, notify us as soon as possible at losangelescircles@gmail.com and we will cancel your order if it is possible.
Why Are the Offers Limited to One Per Member?
We want as many members of Los Angeles Circles as possible to take advantage of our great offers. Limiting offers means that more members can enjoy the full value of their membership.
Why Do I Pay Separate Shipping & Handling Fees Everytime I Buy Something?
Some packages cost more to ship and handle than our fee and some cost less. In order to ease the process, and also give our members the security of always knowing exactly what they will be paying, we've set the shipping and handling fee to a fixed number. This number will never exceed 50% of the offer in the club with the lowest value. That way you are always sure to get at least a 50% discount off the original value of the offer. Most of the time though if you count in the shipping and handling fee, you get offers at a 90% discount or more.
What Is The Difference Between Your Bulletins and Your Newsletters?
The newsletter is sent out via e-mail once a month and contains general information from the club and, more importantly, information about upcoming offers and events. The bulletins that you can sign up for via e-mail, Twitter or Facebook are sent out more frequently. They tell anyone who's interested about new items that have just been added to the site, offers that are expiring and other timely information members need to know about.
